CERTIFAI Final Conference Showcases AI-Supported Cybersecurity Certification Solutions

Prague, Czech Republic, 11 June 2026 – The CERTIFAI consortium successfully concluded its three-year Horizon Europe project with the CERTIFAI Final Conference, bringing together experts from industry, research organisations, certification bodies, public authorities, and cybersecurity practitioners to discuss the future of cybersecurity certification and conformity assessment.

Held in a hybrid format in Prague and online, the conference presented the key achievements of the CERTIFAI project, including innovative methodologies, assessment approaches, and a suite of AI-supported tools designed to improve cybersecurity certification processes and support compliance with emerging regulatory requirements.

Throughout the event, participants explored the CERTIFAI Framework and the project’s key tools, including ThreatSpider, SAC Composer, Copilot for Security Assurance Case Evaluation, SimVul, and LOGA. Live demonstrations showcased how these solutions can support evidence management, risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and certification preparation activities.

The conference also highlighted the successful validation of the CERTIFAI approach through four industrial use cases covering railway systems, industrial automation, autonomous maritime technologies, and IoT-based fire detection solutions. These demonstrations provided practical evidence of how AI-assisted technologies can help organisations address increasingly complex cybersecurity certification and compliance challenges.

A recurring theme throughout the conference was the growing importance of trustworthy and efficient certification processes in response to evolving regulatory frameworks such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Discussions confirmed that while artificial intelligence can significantly enhance certification and assessment activities, human expertise and oversight remain essential components of trustworthy decision-making and conformity assessment processes.

“The Final Conference provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the practical value of the CERTIFAI results and to engage directly with stakeholders interested in cybersecurity certification and compliance,” said the CERTIFAI consortium. “The discussions confirmed the relevance of the project outcomes and the need for innovative approaches that support organisations in meeting future cybersecurity requirements.”

The event also served as the final Advisory Board meeting of the project, providing an opportunity for external experts to review the project outcomes and contribute feedback on the future exploitation and impact of the developed solutions.

To ensure continued access to the project results, all conference presentations and the full recording of the event have been made available through the official CERTIFAI website.

The CERTIFAI consortium would like to thank all participants, speakers, Advisory Board members, and project partners for their valuable contributions and support throughout the project.
